Frequently asked questions

Is an electric fat bike good in snow?

Yes. Tires of 4 in or more float on snow and a strong motor helps on climbs. Very deep or icy snow calls for low tire pressure and caution.

Mid-drive or hub motor?

A mid-drive uses the bike’s gears: better for climbing and loads. A hub motor is simpler and cheaper, great on flat or moderate terrain.
